Winner will be selected by random drawing on or about the beginning of every month from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by telephone and/or email, and will be required to sign and return and Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and Publicity Release within fourteen (14) days or prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner chosen.
One (1) fully catered Picnic People picnic for ten people, to be held May 17, 2008 through October 12, 2008 at the following Picnic People park: Little Hills Ranch. Prize picnic consists of park admission, reserved picnic tables, all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet, chicken & hot dog entree, side dishes, unlimited sodas and use of all park amenities. Lunch served 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Weekend park hours: 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Park activities may include all or some of the following: basketball, volleyball, swimming pool with lifeguard, horseshoes, ping pong, self-guided nature trail, kid's bounce house, face painting, giant sandbox, tetherball, playground and rock climbing wall. Softball may or may not be available depending on how many groups have booked the park. Date of picnic is subject to availability. Approximate retail value of the prize is $400. In lieu of prize, Winner may opt to accept $400 discount on any larger or more extravagant picnic booked through October 12, 2008. Prize may not be transferred. All federal, state and local taxes and other costs associated with the acceptance or use of the prize, not specified herein, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Open only to adult residents (21 years and older) of the following San Francisco Bay Area Counties: Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Contra Costa, Alameda, Napa, Sonoma, Santa Clara and Solano. Employees of the Picnic People, Urban Parks Concessionaires, East Bay Regional Park District and California State Parks System and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use the winner's name and likeness for purposes of advertising, trade or promotion without further compensation. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by Official Rules.
